Delay and Reverb in ONE! The UA DelVerb is the Best of Both Worlds!
I took a chance and got my hands on a Horsemeat pedal for a very good price, and I was pleasantly surprised! I absolutely LOVE this pedal… And it sounds amazing no matter which guitar Im playing at the time and it goes well with other overdrive pedals also. I definitely do not regret the purchase.
Man that's a beautiful PRS you got there
Great review w/o a doubt. I'm toying with getting one of the TM Super Reverb's. I could easily afford an old-school tube version but at ~65 lbs. coupled with my age (72 yo) if I do a gig I'd much rather move a MUCH lighter 4-10 variant. 🙂🙃🙂
🔥🔥🔥🔥
You should have put in the title exactly what you said, "...getting great sounds from the Keeley..." Halo and Hydra, pedals that most if not al of us want, but maybe 1%-2% of us actually have. Another video useless to most of us.
Yeah, but the techniques work for other pedals of this variety. 80k+ seem to enjoy the information in the vid so, feel free to to find another that suits you
@@coreycongilio that's cool. Why didn't you say that this video is about how to get great sounds out of reverb and delay pedals, using the (spectacular) Keeley Halo and Hydra as examples. If even some of the information contained in the video is applicable to reverb and delay pedals in general, that's a whole other thing. Looking back, that's kind of how the title reads. I guess I'm just very literal and went by what you said in the beginning of the video. I'll give it a different review after I watch it.
Fact: The G&L tele is not as good as the Sire. Never has been and it never will. I play mine through a POD 2.0, and the sound can’t be beat.
At Andertons (UK) the DGT SE is 749 and DGT core 3999. I know the purists will say, but the craftsmanship and built in USA etc. But I picked up a SE and they are fantastically built and for a gigging musician the sound is practically the same and the audience would NEVER tell the difference. I have no plans to go for the core.... this is what guitars should be, well built, sound great and not cost an arm and a leg. If it breaks in an accident or fire, easy to replace too.
I saw Gary twice in his hard rock heyday. No one plays like Gary. My number 1 six-stringer hands down.
Sounds a little like,Steely Dans, Chain Lightning?
Dude..what gauge strings are on that Gibbie?😮
I got the 594 SE. the shop threw in a complimentary plek job…the tuners had to be replaced before I could gig it. I would say…it’s just okay. I don’t think I would have been happier with the Epi. I’ve had two Gibson LP Tributes and both played and sounded better than these. My Standard LP and Classic both crush these for tone and playability. The Classic was $1099 with a case, new and on sale.
I am playing stax music at tje moment Do you think this guitar would work?
You're a great player man! just subbed. Also bought a new DGT se like you have in this video
Sounds so good!!!!
Have you tried to Browne Atom?
Excellent, well played Corey
Corey, I'm logged in on truefire going through the 50 blues rhythms you must know, and thank you for these lessons. These are great.
love this
Cutting the nut is not a surprise. Manufacturers ship all around the world, in and out of different climatic conditions. The guitars must arrive in playable condition, so they are set a little high. Usually the good music stores go over the instruments and fix with a minor setup. (a good friend and instrument repairman told me that was one of his jobs at Canada's largest music store chain- L&M) Corey, I heard you say it was solid. Good. I hate that loose snakey feeling some guitars have, even great sounding ones. eg: I have this cheap GWL (George Washburn Limited) acoustic that I bought because it sounded awesome, clean and crisp, and had a split compensation saddle. It wasn't until weeks later that I picked up my old cheap Yamaha FG331 ($120 in 1982) and was blown away by the difference. The Yamaha is a serious tone-monster, a solid piece of kit. The GWL, not so much. A thinner toned boxy snakeyness was revealed by a head to head play.
Yeah the protein is pretty great ngl
great solo
Fantastic lesson! Thanks Corey!
Wonderful, thank you.
The build quality on these Sires is up there with Schecter at about $200 less (Made in the same Cort factory). Rolled fret edges better than guitars 3 times the cost. I think you somewhat skimped on the positives.
How is this Marshall and other plugins working with no DSP? Can I get them for Apollo Solo too?
Hello :) I can't access the patches, please is there a way to do this...thank you
Best video on stacking pedal chain. Way to go!!! Thanks Corey
I picked up a new red one during the CME Xmas blowout for $300. I play it as much as my Gibson sg or fender American strat
It's a nice thing to know how you approach creating chord progression. Keeping it tight and closely knitted.
He got me there. "Not a bar chord to be found." That's good stuff, Corey. Haha! :D
love this it can be used in difrenc scale i think by the way great solo you playd
Pure gold - thanks so much!
The difference I see is the Gibson & Epi strings aren’t straight off the headstock but PRS are straight.
Very cool - I've been using the minor triads with the minor pentatonic - but major triads with a minor pentatonic for 7 chords - that is cool. That in addition to bending the m3 -> M3 and playing the 6-1 for the 4th or bending the f7 for the 5th - triads would make it more intuitive. Thanks.
I want to know about the finger nails.
Fantastic versatile pedal for those who know how to use it accordingly
Thanks for this, Corey. I have been looking for a delay+reverb combo pedal. This seems to be the one!
Yeah man!
TBH I prefer the Tone Master sound - and I only own a 1973 Vibrosonic Reverb and a Handwired Deluxe Reverb lol
I confess that when I heard the word "metronome" I considered changing to another RUclips channel 😉
Great lesson I will try and apply lately I have been working on the basics after ignoring for 40 years and it has paid off.
I have only recently subscribed and keep going back further to learn more and more. I think I have learned more from your channel in the last 4 months than my 30 years of noodling. 😅
Now all the tube screamers are in one pedal for 30 to 50$. Various brands but Biyang is a standout.
Why do you have 48v Phantom power on for the 2nd electric guitar?
That particular iPhone is larger than some Android tablets, so "smaller than an iPhone" is a bit misleading. How does its size compare to standard Hammond enclosures? There's a true spring reverb pedal that isn't much larger than the Simplifier Mk II. Don't get me wrong, the Simplifier is an impressive bit of kit, but if they had gone just a couple inches longer (that's what _she_ said) it wouldn't need any of that digital rubbish.
I bought a prs se custom 24 08 but i didn’t know i could get carbon rod reinforced neck and stainless steel fret for even lower price. Did i make a mistake. Sure i like my guitar but the frets have already started wearing off and I’m not a big fan of the pickups either.
great video. although i find my favourite "overdrive" is turning amp volume to max then using the guitar volume knob to dial in whatever amount of drive i need
or you could just crank the amp
I just ordered one from Sweetwater... FedEx has it right now.
Hey Andy from Yamaha, Can you do something about the COLOR SELECTION? Seriously, the colors across the entire range are pretty abysmal. I have the Element in Swift Blue, and I'm at the point where I don't even want to look at it. Why there's no translucent red or even a natural amber finish I have no idea, but you seem to have put everything into the science of the guitar, but didn't spend a minute thinking about making it visually appealing.
Hello Corey, how you connected the OX attenuator with Blues Jr ?
Unplug the speaker from the amp inside of the cabinet. Connect a speaker cable from the amp output to the Ox speaker input
@@coreycongilio Thanx a lot.It' OX better than Mass attenuator in your opinion ? Can I use OX also for Fender Bassman 4 x10 ? Thanks a lot
@@franknick5606 I don't use the Ox for attenuation personally. Just for recording.
